
The Bucharest Football Museum is the first museum dedicated to the world of football in Eastern Europe.
It is located in the center of the city, in the Lipscani district.
The museum is spread over three floors. The first floor is dedicated to Romania’s football history with the shirts of its greatest champion: Gheorghe Hagi.
Nicknamed the Maradona of the Carpathians, in his career he played for Steaua Bucharest, Real Madrid, Brescia, Barcelona and Galatasaray where he ended his career in 2001.
On the other floors there are numerous jerseys of several Romanian footballers who have played in the major European teams such as Petrescu (Chelsea defender, born in 1967), Mutu (Romanian striker former Hellas Verona, Juventus and Chelsea), Radu (former Lazio defender) and other champions.
On the third floor there is a play area where you can develop various activities related to the world of football. On the first floor there is the store where you can buy jerseys and scarves of different football teams.
