The Parco delle Cascate di Molina is located in Molina di Fumane, a small medieval village in the province of Verona and a few kilometers from Lake Garda.
Molina takes its name from the numerous mills that once occupied this area and were operated thanks to the water power of the many local springs, the same that gave life to the waterfalls of the park.
Once you enter the park you can choose how to visit it, opting for one of the three routes highlighted on the map:
- green: the shortest and simplest, lasting about 30 minutes
- red: the one of medium difficulty, lasting about an hour
- black: the most difficult lasting two hours
The difficulty of one route compared to the other is given by the dirt descents that consequently imply a steep ascent.
The trails will take you to visit many waterfalls and springs among which the main ones are:
- muffler waterfall
- bear waterfall
- double covolo
- black waterfall
- green waterfall
Ideal place for a picnic in the middle of nature!
Along the route you will find special areas with wooden tables and benches available.
The ideal time to visit the Park is definitely late spring, when the streams are in full flow and you can see the waterfalls give their best show. In summer, on the other hand, you could risk finding them dry.
