The Palace of Culture and Science (Pałac Kultury i Nauki – PKiN) is located in the center of Warsaw.
Its construction began in 1952 and was inaugurated on July 22, 1955.
It is 237 meters high and has 42 floors.
It is one of the tallest buildings in Europe and is still the tallest in Poland.
Inside there are museums, congress halls, theaters and offices.
It is unofficially referred to as the Eighth Sister and is part of the project of the Seven Sisters of Moscow, representative skyscrapers of the Soviet Union.
