The MoMA Museum in New York is considered the most important museum of modern art in the world.
The MoMA, an acronym for Museum of Modern Art, includes about 150,000 works of art, in addition to films and photographs.
Other world-famous artists on display include: Monet, Kandinsky, Pollock, Georges-Pierre Seurat, Chagall, Cézanne, Degas, Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec.
Modern art is also present in the form of design works, with the works of artists such as Paul László, Charles and Ray Eames.
The works housed in the permanent collection of the MoMA are some of the most famous paintings in the world, which have given rise to artistic currents or of which they represent some of the undisputed masterpieces such as Picasso’s Les demoiselles d’Avignon, Dali’s The Persistence of Memory and Van Gogh’s Starry Night.
