The Dragon Bridge (Zmajski most), decorated with the famous dragon sculptures, is one of the most famous and legendary images of Ljubljana.
Since 1842, the Tromostovje (Triple Bridge) has replaced the previous medieval wooden bridge, which was strategically important as it connected the countries of Western Europe with the Balkans and South-Eastern Europe. The Triple Bridge was completely restored in 1992.
